FANS of Friday Night Dinner are mourning the death of Paul Ritter who has passed away aged 54.
He was beloved by millions for his portrayal of dad Martin on the hit Channel 4 show.
Who was Paul Ritter?
Paul was an established British actor known for his work in TV and the movies.
Since 2011 he has played the hilarious dad Martin in Friday Night Dinner.
Fans will get to see him appear in a 10th anniversary of the show – alongside co-stars Tamsin Greig, Simon Bird and Tom Rosenthal – which will air on Channel 4 later in 2021.
Paul was also known for his work in theatre, and he was nominated for an Olivier award in 2006, and for a Tony in 2009.

Paul passed away on April 5, 2021 after suffering from a brain tumor.
In a statement, his agent said the actor died at home with his family by his side: "It is with great sadness we can confirm that Paul Ritter passed away last night.
"He died peacefully at home with his wife Polly and sons Frank and Noah by his side. He was 54 and had been suffering from a brain tumour.
“Paul was an exceptionally talented actor playing an enormous variety of roles on stage and screen with extraordinary skill. He was fiercely intelligent, kind and very funny. We will miss him greatly."
