Rita Ora vows to give up partying after her lockdown-breaching birthday celebration

IF my last bash had been as poorly received as Rita Ora’s, I’d probably tuck myself up in bed at 9pm with a cup of Ovaltine each night for the rest of my life.

So I can’t say I’m surprised that the glam singer has vowed to give up her party lifestyle following the backlash to her lockdown-breaching 30th birthday celebrations.

Explaining her decision to become a homebody, Rita said: “I feel like as soon as you hit 30, the next day everything changes.

“You start feeling like you’ve got wrinkles, as though your joints are hurting you. I can’t do what I used to do any more.”

Rita added that her past partying had not only harmed her reputation, but her vocal abilities too.

She said: “I can sing better, not lose my voice as much. Why do you always shout when you go out?

"Obviously, if the music is on, you have to shout over the music, but even when there is no music we seem to shout. You have to vocalise everything.”

Rita didn’t have much to shout about in November after police caught her partying alongside pals including model sisters Cara and Poppy Delevingne at west London restaurant Casa Cruz.

The venue’s then boss Scottie Bhattarai said he was offered £5,000 to host the bash.

Rita apologised for the “serious and inexcusable error of judgment” and volunteered to pay any fine — totalling as much as £10,000.

The restaurant had its licence suspended for six weeks.

In another sign Rita is abandoning her wild side, the Masked Singer judge revealed she plans to reduce the number of tattoos she has — to her mother Vera’s relief.

The Kosovo-born singer, who has nearly 30 inkings, told Australia’s Ash London Live: “I have a lot of tattoos and I kind of wish I didn’t have half of them, as everyone who has tattoos eventually ends up saying. Next on the list is [removal].

“But there is one that I love, it’s on my neck. It says ‘Zog’, which means bird in my language and my mum always used to call me her little bird.

“When I got it done, I was like, ‘By the way Mum . . . ’. The last thing you want to text your parents is that you’ve got a neck tattoo, she was thinking, ‘Whaaat?!’”

The only late-night inking for Rita now is a crossword before lights out.

Olivia'spickle pickle

HARRY STYLES’ girlfriend Olivia Wilde got herself in a right pickle after accidentally revealing she was staying at the singer’s London home.

The Hollywood actress and director shared a seemingly innocuous picture of her brandishing a jar of Branston to her 3.8million followers with the caption: “England, I’m yours.”

But those ever “passionate” Directioners ate up the condiment snap, claiming the distinctive blue patterned curtains in the background matched those in leaked pictures taken in the kitchen of the £8.8million home harry as in Hampstead, in the north of the capital.

And the amateur sleuths’ theory was seemingly confirmed when Olivia, who at 37 is ten years Harry’s senior, deleted the photo after fans cottoned on.

Olivia got together with the One Direction singer after casting him in her upcoming movie, Don’t Worry Darling.

They went public in January, holding hands at the wedding of Harry’s agent in California.

I revealed that Harry’s flirty texts to mum-of-two Olivia prompted the end of her nine-year relation- ship with funnyman fiance Jason Sudeikis the previous November.

Fittingly, Jason has since been linked to Brit beauty and former Page 3 girl Keeley Hazell after this month accepting his Golden Globe award for their hit comedy Ted Lasso from a living room that resembled her London pad.

Sneaky stars need to be more mindful of their surroundings.

Gone Bon Jovi

FANS of Jon Bon Jovi are Livin’ On A Prayer when it comes to seeing their idol play live again.

The rock legend said he no longer has any interest in performing massive stadium tours after Bon Jovi’s 2020 jaunt with Bryan Adams was cancelled due to Covid.

He told Gary Kemp and Guy Pratt’s Rockonteurs podcast: “I had a conversation about [playing in] Australia a year from now.

“As long as we do it in a manner that’s pleasurable, we want to do some dates.

“Because I just don’t see me doing 100-show tours any more. It’s not really motivational for me.”

Hail 'n' Grace at bash

HAILEY BIEBER looked stunning as she led a glam procession of A-listers at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice awards in LA.

These included pregnant actress Gal Gadot, who picked up the Favourite Movie gong for Wonder Woman 1984.

Supermodel Heidi Klum channelled Melb B with leopard-print bottoms to collect the Favourite Reality Show gong for America’s Got Talent, which the pair used to judge.

Hailey watched as hubby Justin Bieber, who was named Favourite Male Artist and shared Favourite Music Collaboration with Ariana Grande for Stuck With You, performed Hold On, Anyone and Intentions.

The night’s biggest winners were BTS, with Favourite Music Group, Favourite Global Star and Favourite Song for Dynamite.

Robert Downey Jnr got the traditional gunging as Favourite Movie Actor for his flop Dolittle remake.

That wasn’t payback enough for any adults dragged to see it.

Zara sacks stylist over fatshaming

ZARA LARSSON wasted no time cutting off one of her closest collaborators after discovering he had allegedly secretly been bodyshaming her.

The Lush Life singer announced she was firing creative director Ryder Ripps, who had also worked with Miley Cyrus and Kanye West, after his rapper fiancee Azealia Banks leaked messages in which it was claimed he said Zara should “stop trying to be hot [and] just be a fat bitch”.

The messages also mocked the size of the Swede’s arms.

Zara responded: “Like I don’t pay his bills? I literally see people commenting on my weight every single day, but really?

" You?? It’s not even about this specific convo about me. It’s just tiring to always see women’s bodies being this ‘funny’ topic.

“Ya my arms are genetically bigger. That’s just what my body type is like and it’s starting to get to me because people are constantly pointing it out like it’s a bad thing, even though I can’t change it.

“Just know I’m way healthier now than I have been in a long time. I actually have three meals a day, I’m not constantly cold. I have energy and I love the way my ass is getting fat.”

Zara added: “This is bigger than just a private convo. Like, can we all just STOP comment-ing on other people’s bodies?”

She finished her Instagram comments: “So . . . who knows any good creative directors,” before referring to Ryder as “Ryder R.I.P” on Twitter.

Hopefully this will be a lesson learnt.

Chart first blue

YUNGBLUD could clinch a long-overdue No1 single this week.

The MTV EMA winner features on YouTuber KSI’s new song Patience with US rapper Polo G. It is just behind sea shanty king Nathan Evans and his viral hit Wellerman in the Official Chart First Look.

Regardless of whether Patience makes it to the summit on Friday, Yungblud is guaranteed to achieve a new peak with the track after topping the album chart for the first time in December with his record Weird!

The chart race has opened up after Olivia Rodrigo’s Drivers License slipped to No16 following nine weeks at No1, the longest run at the top for a debut single in 15 years.

I guess she finally ran out of fuel.

Kylie goes for bust

IF you ever wanted proof that Kylie Jenner thinks the world revolves around her, you’ve got it.

The reality star posted a series of snaps showing her dolled up on the couch in her cosmetics company office with the caption: “The main character.”

Kylie posed in a bodysuit that, like my shirts in lockdown, appeared fit to burst – although hers seems designed like that.

I can’t blame Kylie for having a bit of an ego when she has riches galore and 220million Instagram fans.

A couple of likes on Twitter is all it takes to get me excited.
