Daily Star’s Inside Hot TV newsletter sees Ed Gleave send you telly’s hot takes straight to your inbox every Sunday
Loose Women's Penny Lancaster shared an exciting career update on Tuesday's show – she has received her police badge, after years of hard graft and training.
However, her co-star Nadia Sawalha couldn't resist teasing her co-star, bringing the former model's commitment into question.
Nadia claimed she originally believed Penny wouldn't complete her training, saying: "I have to tell you Penny, when you were first talking about all of this, I didn't believe you.
"I didn't think you were actually going to do it. It's incredible."
Penny – who is married to rocker Rod Stewart – was thrilled to share the news with her Loose Women co-stars, having spent Monday celebrating with her friends and family.
"I finally got my warrant card and my City of London Police badge," she exclaimed.
Sharing her start date with viewers, she added: "I will be out there next month."
When Nadia revealed she didn't believe her at first, Penny was quick to put her in her place, insisting she takes pride in her follow-through.
She replied: "When I say I'm going to do something I'm normally 100% in it.
"And it was challenging, certainly was in the last eight months of training, especially with lockdown and doing summer lessons on Zoom. But we were able to finish the course."
Jane Moore managed to relieve any awkwardness, as she interjected: "You're going to look so good in uniform!"
Penny was inspired to become a copper after participating in Channel 4’s Famous and Fighting Crime two years ago.
The documentary series saw her work alongside officers from Cambridgeshire Police, following them on their nightly beat.
Last year, during an Instagram Live chat with her former Strictly partner Ian Waite, Penny described the training process she'd faced to qualify as an officer.
“I had to sit exams, English and maths type of exams, and go for an interview with two officers," she explained.
"And then I did a fitness test, so I had to get fit for that, it was the bleep test which was pretty tricky and I passed."

Penny went on: “Then I had to do this massive vetting form going through all personal details of myself, my family, people I know and all that kind of thing. So now I'm waiting for the training to begin so that I can actually serve the community.”
The model, who is also known as Lady Stewart, added her parents are “not so keen” about her unexpected career change.
