Im A Celebrity stars picking up on Carol Vordermans fakeness

Carol Vorderman spills I’m a Celeb truths to fans on Instagram live

Carol Vorderman made her I’m A Celebrity South Africa debut last Monday alongside the likes of Amir Khan, Jordan Banjo, Shaun Ryder and Janice Dickinson.

The former Countdown star starred in the original series, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2016 where she finished in eighth place.

Viewers have been left divided over Carol’s appearance in the South African camp, with many taking to social media to hit out over her “fake laugh”.

Body language expert Adrianne Carter has provided Express.co.uk with insight on the 62-year-old in the wake of the criticism.

Teaming up with Heart Bingo, Adrianna alleged: “Carol has had a lot of cosmetic surgery on her face, so she doesn’t have a full range of facial expressions and her face is often set in eyes wide and smiling.

“Without a full range of muscle movement in the face, people think we are being fake because we don’t show full emotions.”

“Carol also has a fake loud laugh that I think people are picking up on.”

The Countdown legend has never said she has undergone surgery other than getting botox.

However, the body language expert noted that Carol’s “fake laugh” did not happen once during Friday’s instalment of the ITV reality series.

She concluded: “We are starting to get a more natural acting Carol now rather than the fake/fun Carol we saw at the beginning.”

Carol left viewers laughing during the latest episode of I’m A Celebrity South Africa after Gillian McKeith admitted to hiding spices in her knickers.

Speaking to the cameras in disbelief, Carol exclaimed: “She always ate on her bed. So she was obviously having a rummage into the spicy knickers and having a sprinkle.”

Gillian had to hand over the contraband but she was later evicted from the show alongside Shaun after they lost a challenge against the other celebrities.

Myleene Klass and Paul Burrell owned up to smuggling in contraband earlier on in the week, with the latter sneaking coffee into camp.

Paul, who is a former royal butler, confided in Carol after feeling “devastated” about his actions.

Carol replied: “Don’t be devastated. We’re howling laughing. It’s funny.”

I’m A Celebrity South Africa continues on Monday at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
