TV presenter Ranvir Singh has bravely opened up about her experience of alopecia as she debuted her brand new shorter hairstyle on today’s episode of Lorraine.

Showing off the results of a trendy choppy bob, Good Morning Britain host Ranvir told viewers that when it comes to cutting her hair, she always has to think about what will make her feel more comfortable and help to cover her bald patches.

During a conversation with a hairdresser as she stood in for host Lorraine Kelly, Ranvir, 43, referred to her hair loss condition, saying: “Yesterday when I mentioned in my post on Instagram that I'd had my hair done, it wasn’t just showing off about my hair.”
