Gemma Owen is already making waves in the Love Island villa, just three days into the brand new season.
Despite initially being coupled up with 23 year old Welsh student, Liam Llewelyn, the 19 year old daughter of football ace Michael Owen was swiftly snatched from his clutches by newcomer, ‘Italian Stallion’, Davide.
The 27 year old Italian chose to couple up with Gemma on Tuesday night’s episode of the show, leaving Liam single and vulnerable.
A body language expert has now given his take on Gemma’s tell-tale flirting signals, and he’s deemed that she likes ‘bad boys’.
Darren Stanton, in partnership with Buzz Bingo, said: “Gemma is very much into him [Davide].
“While she was talking, she was playing with her hair, we call this hair twizzling, a classic flirting nonverbal signal women do when they’re into someone.”
Darren continued: “She likes bad boys despite her reluctance saying Davide is a bit of a player.
“Gemma is loving the adulation, but I think as the days go on, she will reveal her vulnerable side.
“She seems to need the adulation so it will be interesting to see how she behaves in coming weeks”.
The couple seem thrilled with their new arrangement, with Gemma speaking about her new coupling in the Love Island Beach Hut.
She says: “Me and Davide are now a couple which I’m quite excited about. I’m really happy and I’m really looking forward to getting to know him a bit more and seeing where it goes.”
Davide, 27, seems happy with his choice too, and says in the Beach Hut: “I feel really happy with how things have been tonight. I’m now in a couple with Gemma and I’m really happy that she actually felt the same as me. I feel like there is something good between us.”
Once the initial five couples were established, latecomer Davide sent shockwaves through the group as he entered the villa, and after he got a text, he was told that he had 24 hours to choose a girl to couple up with.
Despite seeming interested in a few of the girls, including Paige and Tasha, it was Gemma who he eventually chose.
The third episode of Love Island, which will air tonight at 9pm on ITV2, will see the arrival of two new Islanders – 27 year old Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, and 25 year old Lounge Host Afia Tonkmor, who are ready to shake things up even more.
Viewers will also see Gemma and Davide embark on their first date, and drama is set to unfold between Andrew and Luca, who are vying for the attention of 23 year old Yorkshire dancer, Tasha.
