ESCAPE to the Chateau fans are overjoyed after Dick and Angel Strawbridge made a historic announcement about the Channel 4 series' final season.

The Channel 4 show came to an end in December last year after six years.

Escape to the Chateau fans are gutted not to get to see the goings on at the Strawbridge's stunning property any more, but the couple do still keep them up to date via social media.

In their recent post, the couple shared a heart-warming clip of all their moments on the beloved series and told their 465k followers on Instagram that Escape to the Chateau's last ever season will now be available to watch in Spain.

They captioned the post: "For viewers in Spain – we have great news from Dick & Angel and Canal Cosmo."

The rest of the caption is in Spanish, and it states that the Channel 4 series last season will be broadcast on Canal Cosmo for Spanish viewers.
