EastEnders cast look worlds away from Albert Square as they flash £450 Gucci trainers and £1,300 Louis Vuitton bags – The Sun

THE EastEnders cast today looked worlds away from Albert Square as they flashed their Gucci trainers and Louis Vuitton bags.

The cast were spotted as they headed into Radio 2 to chat to Zoe Ball about the upcoming 35th Anniversary Special.

Diane Parish looked a far cry from her character Denise Fox as she clutched her £1,300 Louis Vuitton handbag.

Meanwhile, Natalie Cassidy – who plays Sonia Jackson – was seen wearing a pair of £450 Gucci trainers.

The actress, 36, also looked stylish in a glam faux fur white coat.

Joining them was Kellie Bright who plays Linda Carter, who looked almost unrecognisable.

Instead of wearing her usual Queen Vic landlady gear, she was dressed in a floaty dress, with check jacket and tiger print scarf.

She had her hair scooped up on top of her head with another scarf.

The stars of the soap can earn anything from £100,000 a year to £400,000, so they have plenty of cash to splash on designer goods.

The cast were doing the publicity rounds for the hotly anticipated anniversary to mark 35 years of the show.

EastEnders bosses have already confirmed there will be a horror death in spoilers from its dramatic commemorative special.

TV listings published for February 17 onwards reveal the Queen Vic's boat party ends in disaster – two days after the BBC soap's anniversary.

Leaked pictures of the River Thames tragedy showed Keanu Taylor makes a return and stunt doubles step in for Mick and Linda Carter's scenes.

But actress Kellie has hinted she won't be the one to drown in the water – although she does get a little wet.

Although the EastEnders' anniversary falls on Wednesday, February 19 there will not be an episode aired that evening.

Instead the terrifying scenes will be shown on the Friday. The listings reveal: "As chaos ensues, the grave situation for those on board the boat grows worse."

Last month The Sun exclusively revealed a major character will be killed off in the special episode.

Someone will drown in the Thames after falling from a party boat.

Queen Vic landlords Mick and Linda throw the bash after winning a contest.

Those thought to be at risk include Mick, played by Danny Dyer, and veterans Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean).

A source on the BBC soap, which features the London river in its credits, said: “Where better place for a major death than on the Thames itself, which is so central to the show?

“Trouble has been brewing in Walford for a while, and they decided it was the perfect occasion to see off a big name.

“It’s thought that as part of the dramatic scenes Sharon will give birth on the boat, but she is just one of many who could see themselves go overboard to an icy, watery death.”
