Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford continued with their This Morning hosting duties on Wednesday as Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby enjoy their summer break. For Wednesday’s phone-in, Deirdre Sanders asked viewers to call in with their “nightmare neighbour” problems. However, Eamonn was shocked when one caller revealed she “felt like a prisoner” in her own home.
Eamonn asked: “How does this affect you? Their dogs are wild, their children are wild, they sound wild as well.
“Life can’t be much fun for you, what effect is this having on you?”
The caller replied: “It’s not very good at the minute with the weather, I’m not able to go outside in the garden and enjoy it.
“Having to close windows inside yesterday just trying to watch TV, huge booming voices swearing at the children I think for screaming.”

“I had to close the windows and I just feel like a prisoner after coming out of lockdown,” she continued.
“It’s quite concerning and I’m also worried for the animals, the children, it’s not a very nice environment and it’s just spilling over into everybody’s peace and quiet.”
