DISGRACED Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz has been pictured putting on a united front with his wife amid an ongoing investigation into his leadership.
Justin Bieber's mentor, Carl found fame as the charasmatic leader of the New York branch of the church, but he was recently fired for "moral failures" and infidelity.
Carl and wife Laura have now moved to Los Angeles, with their three children – Ava, 16, Charlie, 14, and Roman, 11 – and they were spotted during a night out.
The family of five were all wearing their masks as they wandered their new neighborhood, with Laura dressed in a black sweatshirt, leggings and and carrying a Louis Vuitton bag.
Carl, 42, kept a low profile in an all-black outfit and a baseball cap.
The pair will not be divorcing after he cheated on her, The Sun exclusively reported earlier this week, as Carl and Laura are determined to make things work.
Carl and Laura were both fired from Hillsong after it emerged that he was unfaithful to Laura, whom he's been married to for 17 years.
Sources told The Sun that since they are both unemployed, they plan to "start fresh" in LA.
The insider shared: "They’re both struggling, but divorce is the last thing either of them want for their family, so they’re doing everything they can to make sure it doesn’t result in that."
The Sun exclusively spoke to Ranin, a 34-year-old designer from New York City, who opened up about dating the married church leader for over five months before their emotional breakup just days before the news broke.
Their relationship took an explosive turn after she claimed Carl’s wife saw all of their messages – including "naughty photos" – which were connected to his work computer at the church office while several other co-workers were also present.
Church founder Brian Houston announced an investigation is underway.
However, following the organization’s proclamation of a deep dive into various claims, a church insider exclusively told The Sun more affairs have already allegedly been exposed.
“Three other women, maybe even more, have come forward in the investigation with allegations of having an affair with Carl,” the informant said.
The fired Hillsong leader is now attempting to pivot his professional life to Hollywood.
Multiple insiders close to Carl, 42, have confirmed he’s motivated by “fame and money” after he moved with his wife, Laura, and their three kids to Los Angeles last week.
An insider said: “He will continue to milk it for as long as he can because he knows nothing can be done about the damage he’s caused his reputation at the church.
"So instead, he wants to use this as an opportunity to advance his career in other ways and become the big star he thinks he is.”
The insider said the father-of-three’s “dream” is to have “a faith-based Netflix series”, however, the streaming platform has “not yet taken a meeting with him.
“Carl’s also gunning for a reality TV show but has not come close to making that happen yet."
He has since hired Meghan Markle's LA-based PR firm.
