CORONATION Street fans were temporarily distracted from Curtis Delamere's battle with terminal illness due to a continuity blunder.
The character, who has a life-threatening heart condition, appeared in scenes with partner Emma as well as her father, Steve McDonald in Monday evening's double bill.

Yet Sam Retford's character appeared dramatically different in both ITV episodes, courtesy of his facial hair.
While he was sporting stubble during drinks with a pal in the Bistro, it was noticeably absent when he went to his flat.
Yet his beard magically reappeared a little later on.
This prompted fans to take to Twitter in their droves, with one writing: "Curtis' secret seems to be a beard that grows, disappears and regrows multiple times a day #corrie."
A second put: "He has a beard in The Bistro, shaves it off in the flat and grows it back quickly for The Bistro. Doesn't everyone??"
One continued: "The continuity on Curtis' face is shocking tonight. He's grown a beard back between scenes."
Another Coronation Street fan then surmised: "That beard/stubble on Curtis really comes and goes between scenes."

Fans were left heartbroken during the episode as Curtis dumped Emma without telling her about his illness.
Curtis had been caught having a drink with a woman – with Emma’s dad Steve assuming he was cheating on his daughter.
But after Steve jumped to the wrong conclusions – Curtis admitted cheating, falsely.
And he broke up with Emma, telling her: “You’re amazing, you really are but I don’t think we’re right for each other.
“Last night was incredible, it’s just made things even more difficult. Emma, please.
“I already hate myself enough as it is. I just want to be honest with you, it’s not going to work and I don’t want you getting in even deeper because I’m just going to let you down.
“It’s better we end things now.”
She was devastated but later Curtis ended up being forced to admit the real truth to her dad Steve.
Revealing he has a terminal illness, Curtis said: “It’s a heart condition.
“I could have a totally normal lifespan or… that’s it. Any time, any place, anywhere, just stop.
“I suppose I’m no different from anyone else in some ways, none of us know.
“My heart has stopped a couple of times. In layman’s terms I was dead.
“I’d love to say there was a bright white light and heavenly choirs but nothing. I don’t recall anything until after the medics brought me back round.
“Why burden you with it and Emma? You can’t always get what you want and I’d rather Emma gets what she needs – a clean break. I’d rather she hated me than grieve me.”
I’d rather she hated me than grieve me.”
Fans are heartbroken for the pair – but predict more heartache in the future.
One wrote: "Poor Emma, she really doesn't deserve any of this #Corrie."
A second said: "Curtis isn't being honest with Emma, although he's saying that's what he wants to be! Poor Emma."
Another added: "Why does Emma keep getting her heart broken? P**s off corrie! #corrie."
