I’ve already won Britain’s Got Talent, says Loren Allred

IF Britain’s Got Talent was about stepping out of The Greatest Showman’s shadow, then Loren Allred feels like she’s already won.

The golden buzzer act says Simon Cowell’s show “turned the page” on her being the voice behind the global hit movie’s Never Enough anthem.

Tonight she will break free from her past and show a “completely different side” to her when she performs at Hammersmith Apollo in the semi-final.

But in an ironic twist, she could end up mimicking Hugh Jackman’s film if she was crowned champion of the talent show.

In The Greatest Showman, Jenny Lind – whose character Loren was the voice of – sings for Queen Victoria.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Loren said: “If I had the chance to sing at the Royal Variety for Queen Elizabeth II that would be such an honour and a full circle moment for me.”

She added: “Britain’s Got Talent has been an opportunity to let people get to know me and put a face to a song that everybody loves. It’s giving me that next chapter – by opening up to people that loved that song and showing what else i can do.

“The response has been so exciting. It’s already been a big win.

“Hopefully in this next round, people will feel like they know me a bit better.”

She added: “I have some big competition on the show so i’m just excited to see what will happen, but I already feel like I’ve won.”

“It’s definitely complementing the staging visual. There’s a woman who works on the show who is so talented and I really liked what she has done with the staging.”
