BBC Breakfast's Carol Kirkwood has been likened to a "movie star" in an unearthed throwback pic from four decades ago – and it's easy to see why.
The blonde bombshell beauty first graced our screens as a weather presenter for the BBC back in 1998 – and she still looks just as youthful as ever.
But have you ever wondered what the popular meteorologist looked like during her younger years?
After presenting the weather forecast back in 2016, presenter Dan Walker had a surprise in store for the stunning Scot.
He revealed: “This morning, we’ve been asking people to send in their photos of them from the ‘80s,” before a youthful image of Carol appeared on the screen.
Taken aback by the jaw-dropping image, an open-mouthed Dan continued: “You look like a movie star, Carol.”
“There’s a lot going on in those eyes there, Carol, I like that – a lot.”
Carol, presumably in her twenties, is seen sporting pearl earrings and a red polka dot hairband.

The incredible pic, which resurfaced on YouTube, saw many of her doting fans flood the comments section and gushed over her youthful appearance.
Alongside an emoji with heart-shaped eyes, one person gushed: “Oh my word. How gorgeous is Carol in that photo? Those big dreamy eyes.”
Echoing their comments, someone else said: “Are there any more photos of Carol in her late teens or early twenties? Absolutely gorgeous.”
Another person also craved more throwback images of the meteorologist, adding: “More ‘80s pictures of the delicious Carol Kirkwood, please.”
A year before the uncovered image, Carol appeared on Strictly Come Dancing and, at the time, she touched upon dating after her marriage came to an end.
She told The Sun: "I was married for a long time, and I got married quite young, so it's nice doing things I have the freedom to do now.
"If I want to go out to the theatre or go out with friends for dinner, I've got that freedom."
