Natalie Mordovetsva is moving in with her fiance Mike Youngquist on this season of 90 Day Fiancé. But much to Mike’s chagrin, she isn’t keen on living with his relative, Uncle Beau. And while the sentiment may seem harsh, some fans are defending Natalie for wanting to kick Uncle Beau out.
The ’90 Day Fiancé’ couple’s love story shifts to the U.S.
Mike and Natalie made their 90 Day Fiancé debut in season 7. The couple met through Mike’s best friend and started talking online.
Mike eventually flew to Ukraine to meet Natalie. And after hitting it off, he then met her again in Paris, where he solidified their relationship with a wedding proposal.
Mike applied for Natalie to come to the United States on a K-1 fiance visa. But when her visa process was delayed, he flew back to Kyiv to spend time with her.
And as viewers witnessed, Mike and Natalie didn’t see eye to eye on much. They disagreed on religion, eating habits, and when they should have children. And being from a bustling city, Natalie isn’t used to Mike’s rural life in Washington.
Natalie refused to live with Uncle Beau
While Natalie was in Ukraine, Mike let his uncle, Beau, move in with him. “He’s a great ranch-hand and a huge help,” Mike told 90 Day Fiancé producers. “He’s currently living in my house. It’s just me, Beau, and my kitty cat.”
But when Natalie was getting ready to come to the U.S., she told Mike she would be uncomfortable living with Beau, a complete stranger, in the same house. But Mike said he couldn’t ask Beau to leave.
“It’s not all about her,” he said in a confessional. “I mean when it comes to family, family’s family. So I don’t know why she would even label him as a stranger.”
’90 Day Fiancé’ fans defend Natalie
After seeing Natalie demand that Mike ask Beau to move out, some fans couldn’t understand why she’d want him to do such a thing. “I get why Natalie would want Bo out of the house, but also, like, he lives there,” one Reddit fan wrote. “He works on the land. It’s not like he’s on a top bunk in their room.”
But others were more understanding. And some even defended the 90 Day Fiancé star’s position.
“I feel bad for uncle beau, but I understand Natalie’s concerns,” a Reddit fan shared. “I would be uncomfortable as well.”
“No offense but I wouldn’t want to live with random male relative either,” another Redditor added.
It’s unclear if Uncle Beau will still be at Mike’s house when Natalie arrives. But fans can watch the whole story unfold as this season of 90 Day Fiancé continues.
