MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly chasing Euro 2020 record breaker Kacper Kozlowski.
Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport claim the Red Devils are set to rival Serie A giants Cagliari and Juventus in the race to sign the young Pole.
The report adds that Barcelona have also expressed an interest but it is Borussia Dortmund that are leading the race for Kozlowski.
The reason given is the Bundesliga side have a ‘network of observers in Poland, who, at the time, found a certain Robert Lewandowski’.
Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Blaszczykowski also became household names during their respective stints at the Westfalenstadion.
Kozlowski, who currently plays for Pogon Szczecin in Poland, has long been touted as his country's brightest young talent.
SunSport previously reported that the 17-year-old became the youngest player ever to appear at the Euros after coming on against Spain.
Kozlowski broke England star Jude Bellingham's record, which lasted just SIX days, when he appeared last week aged 17 years and 246 days.
Bellingham, aged 17 years and 349 days, had broken the record earlier in the tournament when he came on for England against Croatia.
The previous record holder was Jetro Willems, who was 18 years and 71 days when he started Holland's Euro 2012 opener against Denmark.
Kozlowski did a good job after coming on, helping Poland secure a 1-1 draw against the three-time European champions.
According to Goal, United have been keeping tabs on the midfielder when he helped lead Poland's Under-17s to the final of the Syrenka Cup back in 2019.
Ironically, Kozlowski's side lost the showpiece against an England team captained by Bellingham – the man he later displaced for a Euros record.
