Conor McGregor shows off insane spinning kick on once broken leg as he gears up for massive summer UFC return | The Sun

CONOR MCGREGOR's left leg is seemingly back to full strength.

The UFC's poster boy has been on the sidelines since shattering his tibia and fibula in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in the summer of 2021.

McGregor has undergone a gruelling rehabilitation process during his 18-month hiatus from the cage – in which he's also performed a dramatic body transformation.

The Notorious resumed kicking last June but wasn't seen putting his full weight on the injured leg.

But that has since changed – with the Irishman putting weight on it with a spectacular spinning wheel kick.

McGregor, 34, shared a snap of himself practising the risky technique with his 46 million Instagram followers on Sunday night.

Another said: "The king is back."

Former two-division champion McGregor is hoping to return to the octagon early this year, although he's required to re-enrol in the USADA drug testing pool for a minimum of six months before he can compete.

During an impromptu Instagram Q&A last October, he said: "I'm going to be back soon, hopefully.

"Early 2023 I'm aiming for. Sometime in that first quarter.

"That will give me a good couple of months [to prepare].

"Once I wrap this up in a couple of days, get the camp going [for] a good couple of months. And get going."

Mystic Mac – however – is seemingly hoping to get an exemption to the testing pool requirement, which fighters can receive in "exceptional circumstances" provided they provide two negative drug tests.
