And Gabriel Jesus is expected to fly out to Portugal for the Gunners' midweek Europa League clash against Sporting Lisbon.

    Morning, Arsenal fans

Reiss Nelson will be a wanted man in the summer.

And the Gunners are rated slight favourites to beat Manchester United to Victor Osimhen.

Boss Mikel Arteta is of course focusing on tomorrow's Europa League trip to Sporting Lisbon

But despite his last-gasp heroices to sink Bournemouth on Saturday, Nelson is being linked to Brighton and Nice.

West Ham have also reportedly monitored the home-grown winger, 23.

But if topping the Prem by five points isn't enough, Arsenal fans must be excited by the way transfer talk over Osimhen and Declan Rice is going.

Napoli frontman Osimhen is the world's hottest No9 on current form, according to many pundits.

But the Gunners are regarded as well placed in the hunt to recruit the Nigeria star this summer.

That's in addition to Arsenal still leading the fight to land West Ham's England midfielder Rice.

Lastly, it's understood Arteta will use tomorrow's last-16 visit to Lisbon to further integrate recovering forward Gabriel Jesus into training.

    Merson blasts Ten Hag selection

Arsenal legend Paul Merson has been staggered by Erik ten Hag's selections – and partly blames it for Liverpool's 7-0 win.

Ex-England striker Merson can't believe the roles given to Wout Weghorst and Marcus Rashford.

He believes Weghorst is NOT a No 10 and should have lined up against Virgil van Dijk – leaving Rashford t face Liverpool’s “weakest defender” in Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Sky Sports pundit Merson wrote: “The manager, for me, has been getting away with it.

“Yes, he’s done great in a way. But Wout Weghorst as a No 10, I’m not having that.

“It’s Manchester United Football Club and you’ve got Weghorst as a 10 – he can’t turn and run, he can’t pass through the eye of a needle. What is the thinking?

“I’m not blaming Ten Hag because they lost, but why play Marcus Rashford against Virgil van Dijk? He plays out wide every week.

“You’ve got Liverpool’s weakest defender in Trent Alexander-Arnold having a free ride. Trent wouldn’t have believed his luck. Man Utd got it tactically wrong.

“I couldn’t believe it when I saw the set-up of the team – there is only one manager who could have got away with that and that is Ten Hag.”

    Former Arsenal star's new look

This ex-Arsenal star looks unrecognisable with braces and without his trademark hair in an incredible throwback photo.

The footballer is wearing an orange football kit in the pic, taken more than a decade ago.

His beaming smile reveals a set of braces and his short curly hair is very different from what English football fans have become used to.

The snap was taken while the player was enjoying six seasons with Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine.

The attacker, 34, has made more than 275 Premier League appearances for three different London clubs.

The player in question is… Willian.

Neville sure City will pip Gunners to crown

Manchester United legend Gary Neville is still sticking to his guns that Arsenal will NOT win the Premier League.

Speaking on on The Gary Neville podcast, he said: “I thought City had a more difficult game. They were more likely to drop points in my mind, if anybody – I didn’t think either team would, to be fair.

“So City did their job and then you expect Arsenal to go and comfortably win.

“The fact that they’ve won in that way gives them that extra spirit and extra momentum, because it is a game you’d expect them to win 2-0 or 3-0 just because Bournemouth are second from bottom. But they made it really difficult for themselves.

“They’ve got a real momentum, they’ve got a spirit building, the fans are with them, I would say to them they’ve got to stop conceding goals.”

He then added: “City still aren’t playing at their fluent best. We’ve got a hell of a title race.”

Before concluding: “I made my prediction at the start of the season and I’m not going to change my opinion on Manchester City.”

    Gunner be patient with Gab

Arteta will not take any risks with Jesus in their last 16 first leg away to Sporting – instead using the trip to Lisbon as a chance to re-integrate his star striker further in training sessions.

It is also unlikely Jesus will be in the match day squad to face Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

If all goes well, Arsenal potentially see the first game back from the international break as a chance to use him from the bench – the home outing against Leeds on April 1.

Osimhen 'working hard' to fulfil Prem dream

Manchester United and Arsenal target Victor Osimhen says he's "working hard" to achieve hisdreaming of playing in the Premier League.

The Napoli striker is rated by some as the world's top No 9 on current form.

And the Nigerian, who was previously linked with Chelsea, told a recent press conference:“A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League as the best and the strongest League

“But, of course, I’m on a process, I’m in a phase.

"Now, I’m in one of the best Leagues in the world, which is the Italian Serie A.

“Of course, I’m working so hard to make sure I achieve my dream in playing, of course, in the Premier League some day.”

    Premier League top scorers

It is every Premier League striker’s dream to add a Golden Boot to their cabinet – but a certain Norwegian forward seems to have written his name all of the award already!

Last season, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Tottenham’s Son Heung-min were forced to share the prize after bagging 23 goals each.

But Manchester City machine Erling Haaland has already smashed that tally with so much of the campaign left to play.

    1. Erling Haaland – Man City – 27
    2. Harry Kane – Tottenham – 18
    3. Ivan Toney – Brentford – 14
    4. Marcus Rashford – Man Utd – 14
    5. Gabriel Martinelli – Arsenal – 11
    6. Mohamed Salah – Liverpool – 11
    7. Aleksandar Mitrovic – Fulham – 11
    8. Rodrigo Moreno – Leeds – 10
    9. Miguel Almiron – Newcastle – 10
    10. Bukayo Saka – Arsenal – 10

'Brighton and Nice in for Nelson'

Arsenal's weekend hero Reiss Nelson has been linked with Brighton and Nice.

The home-grown super-sub has notched three goals and two assists in just three Prem games this season, including Saturdaysa last-gasp winner against Bournemouth.

But West Ham are thought to have been keen on the winger in the past.

And now CBS say Brighton and Ligue 1 club Nice, who both still hope to earn a European spot, are considering making an approach this summer.

    Gunners lead Victor chase

Arsenal are leading Manchester United in the chase for Victor Osimhen, according to reports.

The red-hot Napoli striker is high in-demand having enjoyed a stunning campaign in Serie A.

Osimhen, 24, has turned heads by scoring 21 goals in all competitions – with his side top of the table and still going strong in the Champions League.

Man United are on a striker hunt this summer and the Nigerian is high on their wishlist.

But according to Italian outlet Rai, Arsenal have overtaken them in the race.

'Bournemouth opener should have been ruled out'

Bournemouth broke a basic rule when they netted their nine-second goal against Arsenal.

And former referee Graham Poll insists the strike should NOT have stood in Saturday’s thrilling league fixture.

That’s because several Cherries players were already in Arsenal’s half when they kicked off the game.

He told BettingSites: “VAR once again appeared to let Arsenal down on Saturday as both the ref, Chris Kavanagh, and his colleagues at Stockley Park failed to punish the fact that a number of Bournemouth players were in the opposing half before the kick-off at the start of the match.

“Kavanagh should have seen the encroachment and ordered the kick-off to be retaken long before Bournemouth got into the Arsenal penalty area.

“This happens in a vast number of games but a goal does not follow within 10 seconds and so the offence goes unnoticed and unpunished.

“Had the player who encroached the most, Antoine Semenyo, been the player who scored, there could well have been an intervention by VAR.

“But with Howard Webb now in charge we will only see less technical offences that are missed being corrected.”

    Fire Bernd sale

Bernd Leno claims he was shocked Arsenal sold him to Fulham for a £17million loss.

The Gemany keeper, 31, had spent four seasons at the Gunners before director of football Edu offloaded him for £3million..

Leno signed for Arsenal from Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of around £20m in 2018.

But he left before the start of this season, signing a three-year Cottagers' contract with the deal potentially rising to £8m if certain clauses are met.

Leno told the Evening Standard that he was shocked by Edu's business, saying: "I have to say it’s a bargain.

"It’s very, very cheap, especially in the Premier League. I am not £3m, I’m probably worth a little bit more. Otherwise I would be a very bad player."

Wales receive boost around Ramsey fitness

Former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey has given Wales a huge Euro 2024 boost with positive news about his hamstring injury.

SunSport understands the Nice midfielder is expected to be fit for the opening qualifier against Croatia in Split on March 25.

Ramsey limped off in the Ligue 1 clash with Monaco on February 26 and missed the fixture against Auxerre on Friday – sparking fears he could be out for several weeks.

Nice caretaker boss Didier Digard said: "He’s an important player and there's just a small lesion, we could be tempted to rush things, but we won't do that."

But sources close to the ex-Arsenal and Juventus ace have indicated the 32-year-old should be raring to go in time for the Group D opener in two-and-a-half weeks.

That update of Rambo's availability will be a big boost to boss Robert Page following the retirement of captain and talisman Gareth Bale as well as key midfield pivot Joe Allen.

Jesus expected to fly out for Sporting Lisbon clash

Gabriel Jesus is expected to travel to Portugal with the Arsenal squad for their Europa League clash with Sporting Lisbon.

However, it is very unlikely the Brazilian striker will be involved as he continues his recovery – with his comeback set for after the international break.

Jesus, 25, has not featured for the Gunners since November 12 after suffering a knee injury at the Qatar World Cup that required surgery.

Arsenal have relied heavily on Eddie Nketiah in his absence, but boss Mikel Arteta could soon have his full-strength attacking line-up ready for the title run-in.

Jesus celebrated the north London club’s dramatic 3-2 win over Bournemouth on the sidelines at the Emirates last weekend before taking part in a warm-down session on the pitch.

And SunSport understands Jesus’ progress means he is likely to fly out to Lisbon on Wednesday to take the next step in his rehabilitation.

More on Szczesny and Tottenham interest

Szczesny is said to be keen to remain at Juventus after slamming the door shut on a move to Tottenham

He is under contract with the Italian giants until 2024 and could see that deal extended by a further year should the club agree to it.

Spurs' interest in Szczesny has caught some by surprise given the former Arsenal man has mocked the Lilywhites in the past.

In 2016, when Tottenham were beaten 5-1 by already-relegated Newcastle on the final day of the Premier League season, he tweeted "Spurs" alongside a crying laughing emoji and a love heart.

Then two years later, when Juventus knocked Spurs out of the Champions League, he tweeted:  "Great win and celebrations versus one of the best teams in North London.

"FORZA JUVE! North London is red."

Nelson receives interest from Brighton and Nice

Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson is reportedly attracting interest from Brighton and Nice.

The Gunners star, 23, scored a sensational stoppage-time winner for Mikel Arteta's men on Saturday as they dramatically clinched a 3-2 win over Bournemouth.

Yet despite a potentially season-defining moment, his contract is continuing to run down at the Emirates.

If Nelson does not pen a new deal, he will become a free agent in the summer.

And an exit from the club he has been with for 14 years looked more likely than ever when he was left out of the squad for the wins over Everton and Leicester.

According to CBS Sports, both Brighton and Ligue 1 side Nice are interested in signing him if he becomes a free agent at the end of the season.

However, injuries to Leandro Trossard, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus are set to give him a much-needed opportunity, so his future remains in the balance.

    Jorginho seen coaching from sidelines

Arsenal fans have spotted Jorginho on the touchline against Bournemouth doing something supporters "didn't see" at Chelsea.

The Italian was an unused sub on Saturday as the Gunners pulled off another dramatic win.

With late victories against Manchester United and Aston Villa still fresh in the memory, Reiss Nelson topped both moments with a stunning last minute winner.

This is despite Arsenal conceding the second fastest goal in Premier League history.

Although Jorginho didn't manage to make it onto the pitch, the midfielder did still made his presence felt.

Footage has emerged of the 31-year-old attempting to orchestrate his teammates from the touchline.
