Woman gobsmacked by nan’s ‘brutal’ message about being single on Valentine’s Day

A woman was was left taken aback by her nan's 'brutal' message to her on Valentine's Day.

Many people often send their family members nice, loving messages when they know someone is single.

However, one nan decided she'd do the total opposite.

The woman, known as Paige, took to Twitter to reveal the blunt message her nan sent her – sharing a screenshot with her 1,270 followers.

At first, things started off sweet, as her nan wrote: "Happy Valentines, have you had any cards xx."

Paige simply replied: "No hahaa xx," which saw her nan cheekily replied: "Nobody loves you xx," along with a kiss emoji."

Captioning the post, Paige wrote: "Thanks for the reminder Nan xx."

People were in stitches over the post with it racking up more than 1,000 likes.

One person told her that her nan was "savage" as Paige replied: "I know, she’s brutal."

Another told her: "I’m screaming," with Paige writing back: "Then she put ‘It’s okay, I love you.'"

Meanwhile, another nan hit headlines this Valentine's Day for a sweeter reason.

A Reddit user revealed their nan had been left a Valentine's Day gift and a thoughtful message from her postman.

Instead of just letters, he also dropped her off a big bar of chocolate, as well as a delivery note which read: "HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! From postman."

Fellow Reddit users were loving the post as her grandson shared a photo of the gift and note.

One gushed: "That's so sweet," as another added: "Fantastic choice. Top lad!"
