Singer/songwriter, Instagram talk show host, and guitar player, John Mayer, explained to his good friend, Andy Cohen, on his Sirius XM radio show, Radio Andy, why he thinks Kris Jenner, is “Yoda.”
Keep reading to learn what Mayer had to say about the head of the Kardashian-Jenner family and the rumors he and Kourtney Kardashian are dating.
Why John Mayer Thinks Kris Jenner is ‘Yoda’
“I think she is, like, the Yoda of Hollywood serotonin,” Mayer said of Jenner while on Cohen’s radio show.
He explained his thought process saying, “Like, she has a good grasp on how to make your serotonin just burst in your brain.”
Mayer told Jenner she’s the ‘ground zero of Hollywood bliss’
The “I Guess I Just Feel Like” singer told Jenner so, according to his time on Radio Andy.
“I was sitting next to her, and I was like, ‘You are the ground zero of bliss, of Hollywood bliss,’” Mayer told Cohen. “She was great,” Mayer added.
Why Mayer’s ‘a little afraid of’ Kris Jenner: ‘She could end me’
While Mayer thinks Jenner, the most famous momager (mom meets manager) out there, is “Yoda” and “the ground zero of bliss,” he’s also scared of her.
“I also am a little afraid of her,” Mayer told Cohen. He went on to say, “I want a nice base level of respect. I don’t want to be too far on her radar.”
“It’s hard to explain. She could end me,” he added. Mayer seems to be saying he likes Jenner and her momager powers but knows if he were “too far on her radar” in a bad way, she could end his career. She’s that good of a momager.
He shut down the Kourtney Kardashian dating rumors
Also during his time on Radio Andy, Mayer addressed the rumor that he and Kourtney Kardashian are dating.
Flat out he denied the rumor, saying, “Yeah, that happens not to be true.” Then he explained how the dating rumor began.
Mayer explained his conversation with Kourtney Kardashian in Dec. 2018
He “kinda crashed” a GQ party and met Kardashian in the valet line where they talked about her possibly appearing in a music video for The Scorpions.
“I ran into the bass player from The Scorpions and his name was Klaus or something… I said, ‘Klaus it was sweet serendipity running into you,’” Mayer explained to Cohen.
Mayer went on, saying, “He started throwing me in a video and I was hamming it up because I love The Scorpions and then Kourtney Kardashian walks up. I said, ‘Kourtney walk away. This is the bass player from The Scorpions and he’s going to try to get you in his video’ cause he was already like ‘Hey Kourtney, come be in my video,’” Mayer said.
He explained that nothing romantic or flirty happened when he and Kardashian were seen talking that night in Dec. 2018. He cleared up the rumors by saying all he did was, “save Kourtney Kardashian from being in a video with the bass player from The Scorpions.”
