Orange Wednesdays are back this November – but with a boozy twist

Orange Wednesdays are back – but with a twist.

Forget the phone provider that used to give you bargain trips to the big screen.

Jameson Whiskey has teamed up with an independent cinema in London to offer 2 for 1 tickets every Wednesday in November.

Not only can you get your hands on a midweek cheap ticket to see new releases, you can get your hands on a free Jameson Orange Whiskey.

Yes, that's right – free booze.

Rio cinema in Dalston, London is the base for this brand new deal that will give cinema goers an extra treat for choosing to watch a movie at the independent picture house.

Jameson Whiskey has released its new orange infused beverage that can be enjoyed for free alongside the Orange Wednesday deal.

All cinema-goers need to do is purchase 2 for 1 tickets for any film on Wednesdays at the Rio cinema throughout November and use the code ‘JAMESONORANGE’ either online or in the cinema to claim their free whiskey.

If Wednesday is not your day for cinema outings, then over 18s can also enjoy 2 for 1 Jameson Orange Whiskey on any day throughout November.

Oliver Meek, Executive Director at Rio Cinema said, “Many independent cinemas like us were hit hard by the pandemic but it’s fantastic to see people’s love for the big screen hasn’t faded, if anything it’s been enhanced.

“It would be devastating if independent community venues had to close, but the Jameson Orange Wednesdays initiative is a huge help and a great way to encourage cinema goers to come back.”

Who needs popcorn when you have a boozy tipple in your hand!
