A mum was left mortified when her daughter decided to wee all over their beautiful couch.

Carrie Bickmore had been trying to potty train her daughter Adelaide, who turns two in December.

And most parents will know that potty training isn't a walk in the park, which is something the Australian presenter learned herself.

The mum-of-three shared a snap of the side of her grey sofa and floor which is covered in wee on her Instagram.

Posting to her 729,000 followers, Carrie wrote: "All we can do is laugh now."

She captioned the snap with her daughter's name, followed by two hashtags, #toilettraining #couchtales.

Unsurprisingly, the post attracted a lot of attention from parents who could relate to her struggles.

The upload garnered 12,000 likes and thousands of comments from fans.

One said: "That couch is really taking a beating."

Another added: "2020 is really not a good year for your couch."

A third joked: "At least it's not brown."

And a fourth suggested: "Maybe it's time for a leather sofa."

It seems as though this isn't the first time her youngster made a mess on the sofa.

Previously, Carrie spotted her tot scribbling all over the seat using a Sharpie pen.

She shared a clip of Adelaide practicing her art skills all over the sofa, writing: "While I did an interview this morning in one room.

"Miss Adelaide got creative in the other room. Who left the Sharpie lying around?

"How do I remove?"

And earlier this year, the TV host shared another photo of the grey sofa with a tiny hand in the shot showing off all the stains.
