Mummy blogger Constance Hall has transformed her son’s new bedroom into a ‘starry night’ space that features a van Gogh inspired mural she painted herself.

The 36-year-old mum-of-seven from Perth said she was inspired by the well-known ‘The Starry Night’ artwork and wanted to bring it to life in her eight-year-old’s room.

‘My little Arlo’s new bedroom. I gave his room a makeover – new blinds, plants, the house holds only set of sheets that aren’t from Kmart!’ Ms Hall said.

‘Complete with a mural hand painted by his mamma inspired by van Gogh’s starry night.’

Ms Hall created the painting using a variety of blue, purple, white, pink and yellow colours that mimic Van Gogh’s artistic style and strung fairy lights from the roof 

The room makeover includes a large bed, bedside table, wooden stool, two plants, photo frames on the walls and a blind.

On Facebook the post received more than 32,000 likes and many were more than impressed with the spectacular DIY feature wall.

‘I need a mural like this! Starry Night is my absolute favourite painting, wishing I could create something like that to pay tribute!’ one person said.

‘Just wow! Love it! What an amazing room. It has such a good vibe,’ another said.

A third added: ‘There are no limits to your talents, this is utterly beautiful.’

On social media Ms Hall is very open about her personal life, her opinions and often shares a daily insight with her followers through blogging.
