In 2013 she launched her YouTube channel, Looks for Less, where she recreated fashionable outfits worn by celebrities at a more affordable price tag. She also created a weekly Vlog every Sunday that documents her week and wrote a blog that documented her life.

After welcoming her daughter Loretta Rose in February 2020, Lydia has been busy renovating the home she lives in, showing off her talents when it comes to interior design.

And according to records her gorgeous home isn't the only property that she owns, with several others in Essex that she rents out.

The Sun reports that Lydia has three different businesses, Lydia Bright Properties that was established in 2013, Lydia Bright Promotions in 2017 and Lydia Rose Properties in 2018.

New accounts revealed that Lydia has "£789,614 in property assets" across the companies and "ongoing profits at £247,362".

On her blog she revealed why she went on TOWIE, stating: "After dead end jobs I decided to move to Marbella, Spain with my boyfriend Arg to have some fun working in a bar. We broke up during this time and he flew back to England to appear on TOWIE.

"I was later contacted by the show to appear on it as well. After much consideration I decided to take the plunge (mainly as they promised to pay for my flight and excess luggage.)"

However, at first she didn’t find it easy, saying: "My first ever scene on TOWIE was horrendous, I was stiff and awkward and looked like Coco the clown. But after a few weeks, months and years I became very natural around the cameras.

Despite the tumultuous ride, one thing is for certain, Lydia has made a lot of money from the hit ITV show, not least because she has managed to amass over 1.1 million followers from her fame on the show.

This means that for promoting products she gets paid a large fee.

Aside from reality television, Lydia also promotes various products on her social media channel, like her partnerships with Aldi, Neutrogena and more.

TOWIE is also not the only show that Lydia has appeared in either.

The mum of one has also competed on action-based, competitive shows; quite the opposite to the glamorous Essex environment we were used to seeing her in.

Lydia went on Bear Grylls’ survival show Celebrity Island in 2016 and then The Jump in 2017, which is a show that sees celebrities compete at winter sports.

This year, while pregnant, she also appeared on Channel 4 show Celebrity Hunted, a show where celebrities have to ‘disappear’ and are searched for by a team of former and serving police.

The blonde bombshell, who also wrote a book "Live, Laugh, Love, Always, Lydia", has also made cameos on several television programmes including Loose Women, The Wright Stuff, and Who’s Doing the Dishes?

Although all this has been a great money spinner for the star, a large proportion of her cash also comes from her fashion ranges which she has launched for brands including Asos, River Island, Lipsy and Very.

Additionally she has an online clothing store with her sister Georgia called Bella Sorella. With all these different business ventures in mind Lydia’s net worth is estimated to be more than a million.
