Whether you’re indulging in chocolate this Easter or swerving the sweets, we have a nail look that will satisfy all of your needs – and it comes with no calories at all.

The latest chocolatey nail craze to blow up on Instagram is influenced by Cadbury’s iconic Creme Egg, thanks to Abi Markey, aka naileditbeauty, who has just created a design that fans say has left them feeling “instantly hungry”.

The Welsh nail artist, who is famed for her very clever and intricate nail art, posted a snap of her 3D Creme Egg creation to her Instagram account – and it looks surprisingly like the real deal.

But it turns out that she actually used polishes from The Gel Bottle Inc to create the near-edible effect – picking shades like Glass Yellow, Brunette, Chocolate and Aubergine to emulate Cadbury’s tasty treat.

Abi has attracted a lot of attention from her followers, with many blaming the nail artist for their sudden sweet cravings.

“Stop it. You're making me want one now,” one person says.

“Just the best honestly. Instantly hungry,” another writes.

Abi apologises to fans in the caption of her post, writing, “Sorry to all the people who are on a chocolate ban at the moment or if I make you hungry hehe.”

“Just sat here waiting for @cadburyuk to hit me up with a sponsorship,” she adds.

She’s not eggs-aggerating either – Abi has been creating Cadbury-inspired looks for quite some time now, including some other well-known seasonal treats.

But it’s not just confectionary that Abi takes inspiration from, the nail artist has also created some fabulous floral designs for spring.

We’re swooning over her Peter Rabbit-themed set, which features the cute character on one of her nails and daffodils on the rest.

It’s safe to say that Abi is giving us plenty of nail inspo for the Easter weekend!
