Kate's daily routine involves a strict bedtime, an early dinner, and some form of exercise at least once a day.

The Duchess of Cambridge is an advocate for a healthy lifestyle, and ensures she does regular exercise while eating a balanced diet packed with high-protein foods and vegetables.

Each evening she prepares dinner for her family at Kensington Palace, making sure she has eaten by 6pm in order to ensure her body has time to digest the food before going to bed.

Kate also makes sure she is in bed by 10.30pm every night, which helps her to maintain a healthy sleeping routine.

She credits an incredibly active lifestyle to keeping her sleep routine in check. The Duchess opts for either an early morning run round the palace grounds, or walk with family dog Lupo every day.

It's previously been reported that Kate will take Lupo for up to three walks per day sometimes, so it's no wonder she sleeps well!

Meghan's rigorous routine is similar to Kate's, with her also being a fan of a strict sleeping routine. She maintains a healthy lifestyle by waking up early, starting the day with yoga, and completely ditching caffeine.

Before joining the Royal Family, Meghan had regularly opened up about her lifestyle habits in interviews, with specific focus on health and wellbeing.

She has previously told how she ensures she wakes up at 4.15am every morning, as it helps to maintain a good sleep routine and hygiene. Having woken just after 4am, Meghan kickstarts her day with a yoga session.

She said: "The morning, as we all know, is that vital time that sets the tone for our day ahead.”

However, like most of us, Meghan's mornings don't include a big mug of coffee, with the former actress completely eradicating caffeine from her diet.

Instead, she opts for a smoothie, and has previously said: "It's easy to fall into the trap of rushing for a coffee when you hit that 4pm slump. I blend some apple, kale, spinach, lemon, and ginger in my Vitamix in the morning, and I always find that sipping on that is a much better boost than a cup of espresso".

While Kate and Meghan opt for similar daily routines, one royal has a more relaxed outlook to life.

The Queen reportedly credits her good health to Earl Grey tea, eating dinner alone, and ending the day with a glass of Champagne.

Her Majesty is believed to wind down with a cup of tea in the evenings, with hot beverages believed to help you relax after a long day.

She frequently opts to eat dinner alone, which can allow you to be alone with your thoughts while shaking off any stress.

Queen Elizabeth ends the day in true royal style, by taking a glass of Champagne to bed with her.
