Ant and Dec may have swapped the sunnier climes of the Australian jungle for the freezing cold of Gwrych Castle in North Wales, but their gruelling schedules are not so different.

Despite not having to battle with the time difference in previous years, which would see the presenting duo hosting I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! at 8am Australian local time for UK 9pm airtime, it means they have a few late nights ahead of them.

Sharing a peek inside their filming schedule the Geordie pair shared a clip of themselves heading on to set for 5.15pm and not finishing until 12.45am.

The lads took a break in between filming the live show to eat takeaway, with Ant, 44, tucking in to spicy cauliflower 'wings', chips and salad.

Ant was clearly thrilled with the meal and got Dec, 45, to taste it as the pair joked about over the flavour of it and right behind Dec was a whiteboard that displayed a detailed list of the timings the whole team had to follow.

It began with a 5.15pm voiceover recording, followed swiftly at 5.30pm to 5.55pm for a script read-through and meeting via Zoom.

They are then ready for live transmission of the episode at 9pm, which goes out live on ITV.

And even though viewers watching at home when the episode wraps and will likely head off to bed, Ant and Dec are not quite finished for the day.

They have to film the trials for the next day's episode, which over in Australia would have been done during the daylight after viewers had voted, but owing to the time difference means a late finish for the cast and crew.

A break is allowed at 10.15pm for food and drinks, as well as wardrobe touch-ups before they return to set for the trial.

Depending on the trial and number of participants, the cameras are set to roll at 11.15pm with a planned end time of 12.45am when Ant and Dec can wrap.

It's slightly different from their Aussie schedule which required the pair to start their days at 2.30am according to their autobiography, and end in the afternoon.

The pair marked the launch show on Sunday evening with a tribute to Australia, posing underneath a set of clocks displaying the time zone difference: "Clocking on with a difference tonight! #imaceleb in one hour!"
