Snoop Dogg is feeling just like the rest of us during quarantine.
Last week, the 48-year-old rapper shared a video of himself in his car while listening to the “Frozen” hit “Let It Go.”
“I had to come sit in my car and listen to this s–t man,” he said, taking a moment of respite from lockdown. “I’m just sitting in my car listening to ‘Let It Go.’”
He added, “Let it go. We’ll be outside soon.”
Snoop’s surprising playlist delighted social media, racking up more than one million views and a ton of positive comments.
Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Lawson, responded with a heart emoji.
One person tweeted, ”Even OG’s have to let it go,” while another wrote, “Like the rest of us, @SnoopDogg is having all the feels. he is not the hero we asked for, nor is he the hero we deserved. but he is: the hero we need.”
And his video even attracted the attention of the original Elsa — Idina Menzel — who shared her own video of herself bopping in the car to Snoop Dogg’s classic, “Drop It Like It’s Hot.”
“Could have sworn it was drop it like it’s hard. Learn something new everyday,” she captioned the video.
