Get free Lottie London Vampire Diaries makeup by donating blood this October

Fancy getting your hand on some free makeup? All it’ll cost you is a pint of blood. No, this isn’t the plotline of some twisted new horror film, but instead Lottie London’s big-hearted new Blood for Beauty campaign.

In response to a national shortage of blood donations, the Gen Z-favourite brand is giving away its limited-edition Love Sucks makeup collection – created in collaboration with hit TV show The Vampire Diaries and worth over £40 altogether – for free to anyone who gives blood throughout the month of October*.

Simply share proof of yourself at an official donation site on Instagram or TikTok, tagging @mylottielondon and using the hashtag #bloodforbeauty, to receive the collection while stocks last.

If you don’t fancy donating or aren’t able to, you can still shop the Love Sucks range here, which includes, amongst other things, a 12-shade eyeshadow palette, a colour-changing lipstick and a moon-shaped stamp eyeliner. They’re perfect for creating frightfully good Halloween makeup looks – and won’t give your bank account a scare either, with prices starting from just £4.95.

If you’re after more creepy cosmetics, here’s our pick of macabre makeup to shop this Halloween…

Revolution x Game of Thrones Mother of Dragons Forever Flawless Shadow Palette, £12 here

If House Of The Dragon is your Halloween costume inspo this year, you'll want to snap up this limited-edition 18-shade eyeshadow palette, featuring shades more fiery than a “dracarys” command. This collection also includes items like matte liquid lipsticks named after the main female characters in GoT, a blacker-than-black mascara and a makeup sponge perched upon its very own Iron Throne.

bareMinerals Maximist Liquid Eye Liner, £20 here

Perfect for drawing on cat-eye flicks, spiderwebs or skeletal shadows, but this liquid liner will see you well past Halloween to become a staple in your makeup bag.

Eylure Volume Salon Extension Look Lashes, £10 here

If the look you’re going for is more glam than ghoulish, finish off your makeup with a pair of these high-drama falsies. They give a Russian lash effect, with enough volume to stand out even as night falls.

Mii Nail Polish in Night Frost, £13.50 here

If you don’t want to go full-on face paint, why not just give a subtle nod to the occasion with this shimmery deep midnight grey nail polish. The AW22 colour collection also includes a deep burgundy, dark green and elegant grey.
