Dr Pimple Popper has been helping patients with extra nipples by surgically removing them – and even shared a photo of someone with a nipple on their foot.
In a video that was watched 700,000 times, the dermatologist explains how she treats her patients who have the interesting quirk.
She shows how the extra (supernumerary) nipples can grow close to the true nipples and be mini-me versions, or appear quite far away from the chest, including in the armpits or near the groin.
They can even grow hair or squirt out milk, although men won't get this second weird side effect.
"Just like some people have hair growing from their nipples, some people have hair growing from their accessory nipples," she explains.
Dr Pimple Popper, whose real name is Sandra Lee MD, then shows a picture from a medical paper about a 22-year-old woman who had a real nipple growing on her foot.
"This has got to be the coolest place to have an extra nipple. Look at that, it's definitely an areola," she says.
She zooms in on the foot nipple, which is brown in colour and growing right in the middle of the sole of the woman's foot.
The video was uploaded on Dr Lee's official @drpimplepopperTikTok account on Tuesday (October 19) and thousands of people commented.
One user joked: "Don't get them removed get them pierced."
A second viewer shared: "Omg I've had this my whole life I'm a guy should I be worried at all and is removing it a good idea."
"I've always joked around calling it that I didn't realise that's exactly what I have lol," said another.
Someone else quipped: "I believe the scientific term is 'nubbin.'"
Other viewers questioned how the nipple on the foot was possible and wondered if it was from an absorbed twin or the result of a mutation.
