‘Dog chef’ stuns owners with ‘creative’ gourmet meals including sushi and cake for pooches

Daniel Tomas, who is a business owner when he is not busy making delicious meals for dogs, started his brand Chefs and Dogs to try and promote the benefits of feeding pets raw food. The stunning meals and desserts look like they could have been served at luxurious restaurants, with each one being made with specific fresh ingredients.

In the videos, shared on Mr Tomas’ Instagram and TikTok accounts @chefsanddogs, the Australian dog chef shows himself making each meal from scratch.

His gourmet meals have included smoothie bowls, ramen, sushi, wagyu burritos and even no-bake dog cakes.

Mr Tomas’ brand is hoping to educate and give meal idea alternative to boost the health of dogs and prevent illnesses.

Feeding pets a balanced diet of raw, healthy food and treats helps to strengthen bones, the immune system, skin, teeth and can even give dogs a shinier coat of fur and better wellbeing more generally.

Mr Tomas has proven to be a huge hit with dog lovers everywhere, surpassing 1.8 million followers on TikTok alone.

His videos tend to get hundreds of comments from viewers stunned by the quality of his dog meals.

One said: “Wow my family is slacking big time.”

Another added: “This is so cute.”

A third said: “Is there anything you can’t do?”

A fourth added: “Wow! Very creative.”

Some of Mr Tomas’ recent recipes have included a pet cake, made by spreading salmon into a baking tin to freeze before mixing it with Greek yoghurt combined with crushed raspberries.

He has even made a wagyu pie using a range of ingredients such as oats, coconut flour and kangaroo heart.
