ALDI is launching a brand new halloumi burger and bringing back its delicious fried cheese sticks and they're back in stores until next January.
Shoppers went mad for the sell-out halloumi fries when the german supermarket first launched the product last year.
Each halloumi burger is selling at £2.29 each in a 190g pack.
Although the price of the product is now 30p more expensive than last year’s retail price of £1.99, it has not stopped desperate fans from getting their hands on them.
Last year, customers posted pictures of empty freezers, while others demanded answers from the supermarket.
Hopefully stocks will be in greater supply this year as they are currently available to buy in-store now but not online.
One said: “Halloumi fries from Aldi are the real deal.
Another said: “Can confirm – the Aldi Halloumi fries are the greatest thing. End of tweet.”
We thought that was a bit expensive so found the cheapest halloumi burger slices selling at Asda for £1.97 in a pack of four.
Remember that there is a minimum basket charge of £3 on the Asda shopping order, so you would need to add another item to your basket.
Aldi has said they got the idea for their halloumi fries from Nando's, which has been selling the snack as a side since last year.
Like the Nando's side dish, Aldi's halloumi fries are covered in a lightly seasoned coating to make them extra crispy.
Did you know that Aldi trials 25p reusable fruit and veg bags instead of its free plastic bags.
