WHEN we're whizzing through our daily list of household chores, putting a load of washing on is almost always an afterthought.
Well if you've ever accidentally dyed your white sheets PINK with a stray red sock (true story), then you might want to takes notes from this savvy mum.
Posting on the Facebook group DIY on a Budget official, Tash Psyche Reece explained how she divides her washing into three separate hampers.
"I have 5 kids and I live in a three bed house so space is tight," Tash explained. "I have three washing baskets one for whites one for colours and one for dark."
Although the three hampers have havled the time Tash spends sorting clothes, they take up a lot of space in the busy household.
Posting a photo of her washing bins hanging from her upstairs bannister, Tash wrote: "Then I thought of doing this!"
The savvy mum simply lined them up above the stairs and attached them to the bannister using cable ties – and people thought it was "genius".
And when it comes to emptying them, all Tash has to do is tip the bins over and collect the washing from the landing.
One fan gushed: "OMG I'm so doing this I been torturing hubby for years to build me a unit there – thank you Tash!"
Another added: "Wow exact same predicament 5 kids 3 bedrooms. This is a great idea!"
Meanwhile, a third wrote: "This is a really good idea, Its so hard to find space in such a small house & if you have 3 plus kids."
