KATE Middleton appears to have been indulging in a bit of sunbathing during lockdown as she showed off a glowing tan in her latest Zoom call.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined a video call with volunteers from the mental health text service Shout on Friday.
The call marked Shout’s anniversary, as the UK’s first 24 hour crisis text help line, after being launched by Kate and William with the help of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Kate showed off her summer glow in a white scalloped edged knitted sweater by Sandro.
Speaking on the call, Prince William said: “You guys are the trailblazers, you have been doing a fantastic job keeping Shout moving forward, so well done and thank you for all your hard work; we really appreciate it.”
The couple, who are isolating at their Norfolk home of Anmer Hall, praised the charity’s work as they deal with the impact of coronavirus.
The volunteers explained how lockdown has impacted young people’s mental health and how the text service is helping them to reach out.
Crisis volunteer Alexis said: "The unique support that Shout is able to provide to people in crisis is crucial at all times, but now more than ever it can serve as a lifeline to those most in need – whatever they're going through, big or small.”
Shout was launched in May 2019 by the Cambridges and Sussexes after a £3 million investment from the Royal Foundation.
Meghan and Harry joined their own Zoom meeting with volunteers from Shout's US sister organisation Crisis Text Line earlier this week.
The virtual stream was the couple’s first joint appearance since moving into the plush LA mansion, owned by comedian and producer Tyler Perry.
Ricky Neal, from Crisis Text Line in Atlanta, shared on social media on Thursday how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had been guests at their Wednesday staff Zoom meeting.
He said on Instagram: “It's not everyday that Meghan and Harry jump into your staff meeting & champion the work you do! Blessed to still be working during these crazy times!”
