Kate Middleton pays sweet tribute to George, Charlotte & Louis with necklace as she launches Centre for Early Childhood

KATE Middleton made sure her children were close to her heart as she stepped out to launch The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

The Duchess of Cambridge is driving The Royal Foundation's latest launch and was seen giving a sweet nod to her brood; Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three, while doing so.

Kate added a personal touch to her outfit and wore a gold necklace that was engraved with the first initial of each of her children's names she shares with husband Prince William.

The Royal looked as stylish as ever in a pale blue number and wore the pendant that came with a round disc engraved with the letters 'G, C, L'.

Kate attended the launch of The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood – a new initiative set up by her and William's foundation; The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

It's set to focus on the early years of childhood and supporting the youngest people in society.

Highlighting the importance of the Early Childhood Centre, Kate said: "Our first five years lay important foundations for our future selves.

"This period is when we first learn to manage our emotions and impulses, to care and to empathise, and thus ultimately to establish healthy relationships with ourselves and others.

"It is a time when our experience of the world around us, and the way that moulds our development, can have a lifelong impact on our future mental and physical wellbeing.

Kate's appearance comes after she was seen paying tribute to Princess Diana – who would have turned 60 on 1 July – while attending a G7 dinner.

Eagle-eyed royal fans will have noticed she was wearing a stunning three-strand pearl bracelet, designed by Nigel Milne, that once belonged to the Princess of Wales.

Diana was seen wearing the bracelet on several occasions, while Kate was first spotted with it on at a 2017 reception in Berlin.

She also wore it on her wrist during the 2018 royal tour of Sweden.

It's not the only item from Diana's personal jewellery collection Kate now has, as the mum-of-three is also in possession of Princess Diana's sapphire engagement ring.

In more Royal Family news, Princess Diana’s friend believes she would never have let Prince Harry do bombshell Oprah interview.

We also revealed the Queen was "not asked but informed" about baby Lilibet name.

And this is what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's daughter's nursery might look like.
