A HIGH profile nanny has revealed the most bizarre experiences she had in the job, including banning her from being barefoot as it looked “poor”.
Hannah, who posts on TikTok as @hannahkoumakis, revealed a wealthy family also decided her clothes weren't stylish enough so bought her a whole new designer wardrobe.
She explained: “When I first started working for a high net worth family I was wearing bare feet."
Hannah said the dad came up to her and said it was a sign of poverty for their family.
She added: “I was wearing bare feet, strap top and shorts and the dad came up to me and looked at me and said ‘never wear that ever again.’
“The mum didn’t like my style, I wore baggy jeans and vintage jumpers, she didn’t like that, so she gave me her credit card.
“Me and her PA went out to the shops and got to spend whatever we wanted on a brand new wardrobe for me.”
Hannah also said that her family didn’t like her to join in with conversation at the dinner table, so would chat in a different language so she couldn’t contribute.
She added: “My job description was to be discreet, to be seen and not heard.”
Hannah was paid around £500 each week, which included rent and food – but she could work up to 90 hours and found the hours gruelling.
However, being a nanny for rich clients did have its perks.
