I dropped out of med school because it was too expensive – I now make $1M on OnlyFans

A STUDENT who wanted to become a doctor but was struggling to pay for her university tuition has revealed how she gave it all up to become a model – and now makes over $1 million a year on OnlyFans.

Camila Elle, 21, was just a few months away from gaining her pre-med degree in chemistry and psychology at the Florida International University in Miami when she decided to start selling sexy content online.

The model was living month-to-month, with lack of money a constant concern but soon found herself raking in the cash.

“I was constantly worried about money and always living month to month trying to stay afloat and pay for the fees," Camila told Jam Press.

"I received financial aid from the university but it was minimal, so in order to pay for everything I took out loans.

"I didn't get any help from my family.

“I’d dabbled with online sites and selling sexy snaps and videos in the past but had never taken it further.

“I set up an OnlyFans account and was quickly making enough money to pay for my tuition and live.

"After I graduated, I paid off all my student loans!”

Tuition costs at the University of Florida can cost upwards of $21,430 a term, a huge amount for anyone – even those with loans and financial aid.

Camila, who also shares saucy snaps on Instagram with her 55,000 followers, said: “In addition to getting my degree, I also worked as a teaching assistant, so that helped out with costs a little but I was always struggling to scrape by.

“Joining OnlyFans, I was soon making more than enough money but more than that, I was enjoying myself.

"I started in my dorms just to make ends meet and now I’m a full-time creator.

“I started feeling free and was having fun.

“Being a doctor had always been my dream but the stress of studying and constantly being broke had taken its toll on my mental health.”

When the model completed her course and graduated with honors, instead of going on to medical school as she'd always planned, she opted for a completely different career move.

She said: “After graduating, I went full time with my OnlyFans and really put all my attention into making it a success.

“Soon I was earning over $150,000 most months and quickly went into the top 0.01% of content creators.

“I couldn’t believe how many people wanted to see me and my content.”

Unfortunately, the career change came at a personal cost, however.

Camila claims most of her family don't approve of her change of profession and she no longer speaks to them, but this hasn’t put the 21-year-old off.

She added: “This last year during the pandemic has been hell on earth for healthcare workers.

"I know so many professionals who have left hospitals because of stress.

“I know doing that sort of job comes with a huge amount of responsibility but the way I’ve seen so many doctors and nurses treated while trying to save lives, it’s not OK.

“I enjoy my job, I love my life, why would I give that up?”
