Matthew McConaughey and son Levi announce support for Maui
Matthew McConaughey’s alleged stalker was reportedly escorted away by police after showing up at an event he was hosting.
The Hollywood actor, 53, was in attendance at a meet-and-greet event for his book, Just Because, when the incident happened, according to TMZ.
McConaughey has allegedly been harassed for an extended period of time by the female stalker who would contact him via emails, letters and lawsuits.
The Oscar-winning star filed to get a restraining order against the woman before the event took place.
The police was already at the venue when the purported stalker arrived at the event, where she was informed of the restraining order and led away “without incident.”
