On Tuesday's instalment of Lorraine, Lousie Redknapp admitted that her appearance on The Masked Dancer was a welcomed break following months of lockdown.
The singer has been putting on a brave face and keeping busy with work commitments after reports emerged that her ex Jamie Redknapp is expecting a child with girlfriend Frida Andersson.
On Sunday night, the 46 year old shocked The Masked Dancer viewers after she was unveiled as the mystery celebrity dancer behind the flamboyant Flamingo costume.
And mother-of-two Louise told host Cat Deeley that her involvement in the competitive television series was "really nice after lockdown".
"It was nice to be dancing and doing something after so many months," she added.
Louise also explained that she "lucked out" when producers offered her the flamingo costume.
"It was a pretty nice costume, but it was pretty big. I mean, I always wanted to be 6 ft, but still! It was great fun."
Meanwhile, no one seemed more surprised that Louise was, in fact, Flamingo on the ITV show than her son Beau, who she shares with ex Jamie.
The former Eternal singer shared the clip on with her 720,000 Instagram fans.
It shows her and son Beau sitting on their grey sofa as The Masked Dancer plays on their TV in their cosy living room.
Beau appears none the wiser as he is looking at his phone while nervous mum Louise sits and waits for the big unveil.
Then, as Louise's identity is finally unveiled, her surprised son turns his head to look at his mum.
Louise, who was "knocked sideways" by Jamie's baby news, smiles and faces her tween son, who cannot hide his shock and giggles.
After the big reveal, Louise added the video and snaps from her time on The Masked Dancer to send fans an uplifting message.
As she shared the collection of images on her Instagram page, she told her fans: "Always be yourself… unless you can be a flamingo then always be a flamingo!"
Jamie's girlfriend Frida appeared to confirm her pregnancy as she thanked a slew of her fans for their congratulatory messages on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Jamie’s dad Harry Redknapp said he’s “really pleased” about the fact he's becoming a grandfather again.
Harry is already grandad to five children and said on talkRADIO that he was excited to welcome a sixth grandchildren to the family.
Harry spoke to Julia Hartley-Brewer, saying: “Yeah I'm really pleased, it's good news. So looking forward to that and it's exciting times.”
He added: "I enjoy spending time with the grandkids, I love it, I really do. Going to watch them play football and sport… I love being there and turning up and watching the kids and taking them to football on Saturday.”
