Khloe Kardashian has opened up about her battle with coronavirus in her first interview on The Ellen DeGeneres show.

The mum-of-one, who recently packed on the PDA with Tristan Thompson at sister Kim's 40th birthday party, told the television host all about her scary battle earlier this year.

"At the very beginning, I tested positive and it was so incredibly scary," the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star explained.

"I mean, it's still scary, but especially then, when the whole world was shutting down, and we didn't really have any information, or the information we had just changed every single day."

The 36-year-old admitted she couldn't believe she had tested positive after being careful with protective masks and gloves.

"I remember I just wore a mask, I remember I wore gloves, just because speculation all about COVID, but nobody really knew, and we were all like, 'There's no way I could have COVID.'"

After testing positive, the reality star was forced to self isolate in her room for 16 days and was unable to see her two-year-old daughter True.

"I don't care about how beautiful of a place you have, being taken away from your child – because I couldn't be around my daughter – was the most heart-wrenching thing," Khloe told Ellen.

In the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe began getting coronavirus symptoms.

Speaking to the camera during her confessional, sister Kim Kardashian said: "I mean, my gut tells me she does [have coronavirus], just because she's so sick.

"That really scares me for her, 'cause I can tell that she's now getting scared and that she's really nervous about it."

Khloe's mum Kris Jenner added: "I, of course, then jumped on the phone with every doctor who would take my call, trying to find somebody that could help her."

"I guess we'll just wait and find out," Kim said.

Khloe then confirmed she had the virus and explained: "Just found out that I do have corona, I have been in my room. It's gonna be fine, but it was really bad for a couple days."

Explaining her symptoms, she revealed: "Vomiting and shaking and hot and then cold. I suffer from migraines, but this was the craziest headache."
