After her husband Derek Draper was allowed to return home after a year in hospital, Kate Garraway has tearfully recalled the first time she laid the table for four.
The mum-of-two, who shared her email address to speak to her fans, was able to reunite with her beloved husband as he enjoyed an emotional reunion with their children Darcey, 15, and Billy, 11.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Friday, the 53 year old explained: "[Derek] is responding all the time. What he's not able to do is talk and say, 'Why the hell is the place such a mess?'
"He is aware of where he is and there have been so many little, lovely moments. I was saying to him all the time during the coma, 'When you get home, you can have one of my casseroles.
