Kate Garraway has provided her fans with an update on her husband Derek Draper as he continues to remain in hospital.
The 53 year old, who recently ventured out to deliver Easter eggs in a loaned car after her previous one was stolen, hosted Good Morning Britain on Tuesday with Adil Ray when they spoke to Bear Grylls before she briefed the public about her family.
The mum-of-two, who shares daughter Darcey, 15, and 11 year old son William with her other half, asked the 46 year old adventurer how he's been coping amid the third national lockdown, which is being lifted soon.

Thinking it over, he replied: "I think lockdown has been incredibly hard for so many people, I think it's a year like no other."
He then moved on to speak about Kate's recent documentary Finding Derek, which follows 53 year old Derek's journey beating coronavirus and the subsequent health issues it left him with, as well as how Kate and their kids have coped.
Bear said: "Super mindful, Kate, obviously of your journey you've had.

"And actually I was just saying to our team here that me and Shara watched your programme the other day, and really, hearts and prayers out for you.
"I look at this year and I think if I've learnt anything from the wild it's that storms come, and when you're in them they can be intense, and almost overwhelming, but they don't last forever."
Bear went on: "And it will pass and as you know when the skies clear, it can be a beautiful moment, but we're all cheering for you and rooting for you."

He then asked: "How are your kids by the way?"
Kate, who recently shared her email address to speak with fans after her "overwhelming" documentary aired, replied: "Well, thank you very much, that's very sweet of you.
"We probably haven't got time to go into it but all is good as can be, I think, that's the way to do it."

She added: "And as you say, it's about planning and taking everything a step at a time and looking out for the blue skies to come, which is a lovely lesson."
Before signing off, Bear told Kate he was "sending love and strength" to her two children.
