James Norton wife: Is the actor married? Inside the actor’s love life with Imogen Poots

James Norton teases he COULD return to Grantchester

James Norton is a well-known face on the small screen having appeared in the likes of Grantchester, War & Peace and Belle during his career. Tonight the actor will reflect on his role in the 2020 film Nowhere Special. But what is known of the star’s love life away from his life in the public eye?

Is James Norton married?

James is not married although he is currently dating fellow actress Imogen Poots.

The 31-year-old star is known for her roles in films such as Vivarium as well as 28 Weeks Later.

The acting couple are said to have first crossed paths while working alongside each other in 2017.

At the time they both performed alongside each other in a production of Belleville in the West End.

After hitting it off, they later started dating the same year amid his split with Irish actress Jessie Buckley.

James and Imogen have been together for three years with the pair initially enjoying a long-distance relationship.

During an interview with ES Magazine, Imogen opened up on how distance had not had an impact on their relationship.

She explained: “It’s all I’ve ever known, I’ve never known something to fall apart because of distance.”

The actress added: “I find work to be my happy place, in a way.

“Because it’s all I’ve ever known: packing up a bag and moving on. That restlessness that’s inherent in you is very addictive.

“And I suppose now I’m supposed to slow down and set up a farm or something.

James prefers to keep his love life away from the spotlight and therefore not much is known of his relationship with Imogen.

“Thanks to the Nikon FM3a and Imi for both being patient and forgiving. More to come…

In a second post, he added: “Another beaming smile from Poots #nikonfm3a #filmphotography.”
