Danny Dyer has revealed he is set to undergo surgery on his testicles as one of them is the size of a “f**cking jacket potato”.

EastEnders actor Danny, 43, revealed he has a type of swelling on his testicle called a hydrocele, which is fluid in the scrotum, and needs a procedure to reduce it.

Speaking on his joint podcast with his daughter Dani Dyer, called Sorted With The Dyers, the actor revealed: “I'm thinking about having a bit of laser [eye] surgery but the other thing I've got to get done is my b*****k. I've got a massive b*****k, it's called a hydrocele.

“Basically one of them is like a f***ing jacket potato. For real. It's one big ball.”

As he chatted to daughter Dani and guest Rylan Clark-Neal on the podcast, the actor went on: “So I've got the biggest b*****k in the world and the smallest b*****k in the world.

“If it's a cold day then my winkle looks like a little slug lying on an apple.”

Former Love Island star Dani, who recently wore jeans for the first time after giving birth, then joked: “Don’t get it out today, eh!”

And Danny continued to speak about his plans to undergo treatment as he added: “I think that’s going to be the priority.”

Danny, who plays Mick Carter on EastEnders, is expected to undergo a procedure called a hydrocelectomy to repair the hydrocele, which will remove or repair the fluid filled sac surrounding the testicle.

The op will also aim to prevent further fluid from accumulating. He revealed hopes to get medical help later in the year when the NHS is less strained due to the pandemic.

Danny, who recently revealed he once punched his way out of a wardrobe, has been very open in his successful joint podcast.

During the podcast series, Danny also revealed his real name is actually Danial, after his “battered” dad Antony made a spelling mistake on his birth certificate.

Speaking earlier this year, the soap star said: “I did change my name, because my name is Danial. My old dad, and I love him very much, is old school.

“I was born in the 70s so men didn't really get involved in much then. Back in the day, my mum would go, ‘I’m going into labour,’ and he'd be up the boozer and go, ‘What time are you going to be home?’

“She went into labour and gave birth. He got up there, obviously off his nut, and he got to do the important thing, the birth certificate, which I think you have to sign.

“He agreed to the name Daniel but he spelt it Danial – D-A-N-I-A-L. It could've been a mix of things; that he was battered, that he doesn't spell. It could've been a bit of both.”

He added: “As I got into the acting years I sort of decided … I changed it. It was always going to be Danny. I thought Danny was a better name, it has a better ring to it.”
