This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes, 61, said his chornic pain is “like I’ve never experienced in my life” as he seeks help to find out the cause. The father-of-four shared a selfie on his Twitter page this evening asking fans to wish him well.
The presenter is seen sporting a face mask as he appeared to be sitting in a waiting room.
In view of his one million followers, he wrote: “At Hospital….. pain like I’ve never experienced in my life . Need to find out what’s causing this. Wish me well.”
Fans rushed to his post to send their well wishes.
One user wrote: “Awww Eamonn, Sending you so much hope and love. Get well soon!”
“Sending so much hope and best wishes your way xx,” a second added.
A third added: “Hope they find out what is causing the pain and get you sorted.”
Ahead of his hospital visit, Eamonn told fans his mystery pain had been keeping him up at night.
Last night, he tweeted: “Don’t know about u but I got 90 mins tonight before the pain woke me up.
“I just want to say Twitter can rightly be criticised… yet here through sharing the common but not talked about experience of #ChronicPain we r giving each other support.
“Let’s keep talking Tweeters.”
Earlier this week, he shared a picture of himself receiving treatment on a Physio table.
“Just can’t get it to go away,” he said of his pain.
“Sadly so many of you know the feeling. Thanks for sharing your stories.
“I’m determined to beat this… however much it hurts.”
