After four sons, Danielle Lloyd is excitedly counting down the weeks until the birth of her first daughter. And the star is sharing her journey with OK! each week in her new exclusive column.

This week, Danielle, 37, talks about struggling through her back pain, her sadness at her final pregnancy and why she's been much healthier this time around…

Hey everyone,

It’s been very busy in the Lloyd household for us all this week, as Ronnie started Ju-Jitsu. He really enjoyed his first session.

In terms of my pregnancy, I’m doing OK at the moment but my back is killing me. So I decided to pamper myself and went for a dermaplane and enzyme facial and a full-body pregnancy massage to help me relax and relieve the pain a bit. It was really lovely but my back's still killing!

My midwife felt the baby and she seems to think that she's back to back, which can cause a lot of pain. I’m in agony. I feel like I’m walking like an old woman! My midwife has told me to get a pregnancy ball and start bouncing on it to flip the baby so she’s in the right position for the birth. They say she will need to flip to come out because otherwise, it can be really painful. Apart from that, I am feeling good. It’s getting really exciting now. I’m starting to think about getting all my bottles out and getting the pram set up.

The boys keep asking, 'How long until she will be here?' Ronnie still has his blanket, which he’s had from birth and he calls it his 'Gee'. He loves it to bits. Everywhere he goes, he wants to take his Gee with him. I’ve been trying to get him to give it up recently. I say to him, 'Ronnie, you’re four now, you’re a big boy.' So this week, I’ve told him if he doesn’t leave his Gee at home, he will be sleeping in the baby’s cot! It seemed to do the trick as he keeps giving it to me now because he doesn’t want to sleep in there. Ha! On a positive note, Ronnie has been sleeping in his own bed every single night, so me and Michael have got our bed back. It’s bliss. But I said to Michael, 'This isn’t going to last long because we will have a baby in here soon! Make the most of it.'

I’m still having really strong Braxton Hicks contractions. It’s scary when they happen, but exciting at the same time. One of my friends has a planned C-section next week and it’s her first baby. She said to me, 'Oh god, I’m really scared.' I was like, 'What are you scared about? You know when the baby is coming. It’s all planned.' She will obviously be in pain as her stomach will be cut open, but she hasn’t got to do the hard bit – pushing it out!

One of my best friends is having a baby at the same time as me. She’s having a boy, which is what she wanted, and she’s due on Sunday. I rang her up yesterday and I said, 'When’s he coming out? Come on, hurry up. I might have my baby before you!' I think the worst part is not knowing when they’re going to come. I’m ready now. I just want her to come. Stacey Solomon spoke about how she doesn’t want her pregnancy to come to an end as this will be her last. I 100 percent know where she is coming from. I was saying to the lady who gave me my massage yesterday that it is hard knowing it will be my last time. I want to be able to enjoy it, but it will be crazy to know that I won’t have any more. She said to me, 'Never say never!' And I said, 'Never!'

This time around, I think I’ve stayed a lot healthier throughout the pregnancy and I haven’t eaten as much. With my first pregnancy with Archie, I ate a lot. I was a pregnant slob. If I could go back, I definitely wouldn’t do that again because I think it’s so important to look after yourself and I don’t feel bad at all this time. Other than having Covid and having back pain, I know I have done this pregnancy right. I’ve been eating healthily, making sure I’ve been drinking enough water and taking care of myself.

My parents are currently in Dubai celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. They’re having the best time in the sun together, I’m so jealous! It’s so lovely that they’ve been married for 40 years. A couple of people commented on my post: 'That’s unheard of these days.' And it’s true. It’s an amazing celebration. Fingers crossed me and Michael will make it to 40 years!

One product I’ve ordered this week that I am really excited about using once our little girl is here is Pura nappies. They’re organic, recyclable and 100 percent plastic-free. It’s so important to do anything you can to help where you can with the environment, and all mums know that you go through so many nappies every single day. They’re also gentle on your baby’s skin, so they’re a great brand all in all.
