Britney Spears is fast making her return to normal life after taking time out of the spotlight to focus on her mental health.
The singer last month sought treatment amid self-described ‘me-time’, following her father Jamie’s life-threatening illness, but now she seems she’s on her way to being back to her best.
After reassuring her fans she was doing fine in her recovery, the superstar has now shown us what might be involved in her self-care.
A whole bunch of yoga. And, we have to say, she’s ruddy bendy and flexible and giving us all the ‘om-spiration’. Yeah, we went there.
The dancer took to Instagram on Saturday to show off some keen moves as she downward dogged in her backyard.
Set amongst a perfect blue sky and trees, the 37-year-old got to work as she wrote alongside the video: ‘Yoga on the green ??I really like it LIKE THAT !!’
With Cardi B’s I Like It as her backing track, Brit aced various moves on a yoga mat including the splits and side planks.
Fans were pretty impressed with her moves as they wrote in the comments section, with one excitedly saying: ‘Our girls looks amazing!’
While her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, who has been a rock to the singer the past few weeks, reacted with a bunch of bicep emojis.
In April the mother-of-two took to social media to insist she was doing well amid fears she was being held against her will, as fans continued to share the #FreeBritney tag.
Some fans believed the star’s check-in was orchestrated by her manager, and a group of these fans gathered at the City Hall in West Hollywood to demand her release last month.
‘Just checking in with all of you, who are concerned about me. All is well,’ Brit said, addressing fans for the first time since cancelling her Domination residency in Las Vegas, this January.
‘My family has been going through a lot of stress and anxiety lately so I just needed time to deal with it. Don’t worry, I’ll be back very soon.’
Earlier this month, Britney seemed to confirm she was checking into a mental health facility by writing on social media: ‘We all need to take time for a little “me time.” :)’.
Reps later confirmed she was checking into a 30 day programme.
