You can now make your own Lush bath bomb at home

Bath bombs are gifts that keep on giving.

Not only do they make our tubs visually pleasing and incredibly inviting, but they also leave us smelling divine.

And if anyone knows how to do a bath bomb well, it’s Lush.

From nourishing to glittery, they’ve got all bases covered in terms of variety.

But now you no longer have to head to a Lush store to pick up one of these bath-time delights.

The brand has launched some new DIY kits, so customers can make their own at home.

These bath bomb packs contain all the materials for beauty lovers to make their own fizzing creations.

There’s room to get creative, too, as each £12 kit comes with two different characters – so you can choose from either a fairy and bear duo, or a robot and dinosaur combo.

In terms of scents, the fairy is fragranced with lime oil while the bear is a burst of berries – with notes of blackcurrant, cypress and bergamot. Whereas the robot and dinosaur both have citrus properties.

What’s more, all the fizzing characters come with an extra popping candy twist – for a surprise in the tub.

Easy instructions in each kit detail how the materials can be pressed into moulds to form these adorable bath bomb characters.

So it’s a fun activity for all ages.

Jack Constantine, a product inventor at Lush, says: ‘Inspired by months of being locked in with my family and finding ways to entertain the whole family, these create kits bring the handmade cosmetic experience into your home.’

These are available to buy now in Lush stores and on the brand’s website.

Elsewhere in the world of beauty and skincare, people on TikTok are using frozen cucumbers as an alternative to jade rollers and are claiming they work a treat.

So why not stock up on cucumbers and a Lush kit for the ultimate pamper night?
